About

Born in beautiful Yokosuka, Japan, I was always surrounded by a world full of culture and inspiring art. It was Christmas season at Sullivan Elementary School, we had to create Santa out of construction paper. My friend Johnny created a cool Santa fully equipped with pointy sunglasses and … a spiky ball and chain mace. From that moment, I realized that with paper and pencil I could create anything I wanted. I could draw out my own perfect Sonic the hedgehog levels or have Ryu fight against my own characters. As a kid who loved coming up with board games, card games, or even a full double decker race track for my Tamiya race cars, having the ability to draw as well only added to the excitement. I knew that I wanted a career in the creative industry.

I lived in sunny San Diego, California and graduated with a degree in game art and design. As much as I enjoyed drawing, I equally enjoyed playing games so it only seemed natural to fuse the two and pursue a career in the gaming industry. It took a few years for my to finally land a job in the industry, but during that time, I worked for the Department of Defense and created helicopter training courseware for the US Marine Corps. So, even though I didn’t spend my time professionally working on games, I did get to fly in some awesome flight simulators and get the chance to serve my 4 years for the Marines.

Currently, I live in Oakland, California , which is definitely different from what I’m used to in San Diego (I miss being able to walk around in a Chargers jersey), dedicating my time to Interabang Entertainment. Me and 3 other members of the team made our journey to the Bay Area because of an opportunity we just could not pass up. Interabang got accepted to IGN’s Indie Open House program. Because of this opportunity, the production for our original IP, Super comboman, has sky rocketed. We had the opportunity to present ourselves and the game and GDC as well as a great amount of support from the GameSpy team. 7 months into the development and things are finally falling into place and we hope to release the game and share with everyone all the hard work and effort that this 4 man team has committed to.
